Information:
The Thol are a subterranean species that inhabits large cave systems. They generally live alone and thus hunt alone and feed on a native giant cave worm, whose chemical trails they can 'see' through the special organ just behind their eye. If they are unable to find a suitable amount of these worms they will cannibalize their own kind if the opportunity presents itself. They are rather big due to their primary food source and top off around 9-10 feet tall. Their young come from eggs and a female Thol will have 2-3 at a time, once every 2 years. She will stick around to hatch the young but will leave shortly after they are born.

A young Thol is fully capable of fending for itself upon hatching. However, it is often targeted by older Thol as an easy snack and will usually inhabit the smaller cave tunnels until they grow.

A Thol sheds its skin and may do so several times a year depending on how well fed it is. These skins will then be devoured by the Thol for the small amount of nourishment they provide.

They do give off a luminescent light from their eyes and mouth, which is thought to help them distinguish individuals or perhaps be used a sort of warning sign.

They have no predators and are at the top of the food chain, however due to their limited environment their population has stayed rather consistent.

Male and female Thol do not have any distinguishing characteristics except for their reproductive organs. A male Thol- when discovering a female- will try to woo her by bringing her food and performing a strange dance. The dance involves the male rearing up on his hind legs and opening his mouth to let the glow show. It's thought that the longer a male can stand like this and the brighter his glow the more attractive he is to the female. However, the female has the ultimate say in breeding and may ignore the advances of the male completely.

  In case you accidentally change the layer mode of the Glow, Highlight, Light and Shading layers they are respectively set to: Luminosity, Luminosity, Overlay and Multiply.
  You may NOT remove my signature. It's pretty small and out of the way so there's no need.

I recommend having some knowledge of the art program you work in to use this lineart, though its not necessary. Knowing how layers and clipping work will help you a great deal as well.
